Book of Ra on mobile
People search for a Book of Ra app because that is how phones usually work. This game is the exception: Greentube ships it as a browser build, and the mobile experience is the same game, not a cut-down port.

Is there a Book of Ra app?
No. Novomatic and Greentube have never published a Book of Ra app on the App Store or Google Play, and there is no official APK. Everything marketed as one is third-party.
The browser is the platform
Greentube ships an HTML5 build to licensed operators. You open the casino site in Safari or Chrome and the game runs there — no install step exists to skip.
Casino apps are not game apps
Some licensed operators do publish their own app containing their whole lobby. That is the operator’s app, not a Book of Ra app, and the game inside it is the same HTML5 build.
Which is genuinely better here
No download, no storage, no update cycle, and the build is patched server-side. The one real trade-off is that you need a connection.
Where to play for real money
Availability comes down to licensing, not technology. The genuine Greentube build appears only at operators licensed for your market, and the RTP setting they licensed is the one your session runs on.
Check the provider, not the artwork
Clones copy the art and change the maths. The info screen inside the game names the publisher — that is the cheapest authenticity check there is.
Check the RTP in the help screen
Operators can license configurable variants. The number on any review page, including this one, is the certified default, not a guarantee of what you loaded.
Check the licence covers you
A licence somewhere is not a licence where you live. Only a regulator with jurisdiction over you gives you a complaints route.
Playing on a phone
The mobile build is the full game, not a reduced port. Same reels, same paytable, same certified random number generator.
Landscape shows the full grid
Portrait works but crops the reel view on smaller phones. Turn the device for the layout the game was designed around.
Controls are resized, not removed
Line selection, bet steps, autoplay and the gamble ladder are all present. On Deluxe 6 the six-reel grid gets tight below about five inches.
Sessions run shorter on a phone
Shorter sessions amplify how variance feels, because there is less time for anything to average out. The stake maths does not change; your perception of it does.
Devices and requirements
What the HTML5 build needs, in practice.
iOS
Safari, Chrome or the operator app on any iPhone or iPad still receiving updates. No plugin, nothing to install.
Android
Chrome, Firefox or Samsung Internet. Older devices may drop frames on Magic, which renders two reel sets at once.
Tablet
The most comfortable way to play the six-reel builds — the grid gets the space it was drawn for.
Data use
Modest after first load: the assets cache, and each spin is a small exchange with the server rather than a download.
Popular casinos with Book of Ra
5 of 6 operators below have no affiliate link of their own yet. Their buttons still work, but the click resolves to the generic offer for your country — which may be a different operator. The brand is kept in the tracking label, so the reports show how many clicks land elsewhere. Set the offer URL in CASINOS (inc/data.php) to point a row at its own brand.

Every operator here has been confirmed to carry the genuine Greentube build and to hold a licence in the market shown. Payout speed and the licensed RTP setting are left blank because operators do not publish them — the help screen inside the game is the only authority for your session. We earn a fee when you sign up through a configured link, which does not change what is listed.
Spotting fake APKs
Because no official app exists, every result for "Book of Ra APK" is something else. Some are harmless reskins; some are not.
No legitimate source exists
If it is not the browser build at a licensed operator, it is not the publisher’s software.
Same art, different maths
Clones copy the artwork and quietly change the paytable. An RTP you cannot see certified is not an RTP.
Permissions are the tell
A slot has no reason to request contacts, SMS or accessibility access. Those requests are the point of the fake, not a side effect.
Loads with practice credits. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Practice credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. The balance resets when you reload.
